Outstanding Service Award

The Outstanding Service Award was established in April 2012 by the District 7 Awards Committee. The award is presented to District Members who, in the opinion of the District Executive, have given loyal service to the District over a number of years.  This award is usually presented at the Annual General Meeting and Spring Luncheon.

The 2014 Outstanding Service Award Recipient is Ann Cotter

Margaret Clarke, Chair of the Awards Committee, presented this award to Ann Cotter, who has served ont the executive in a variety of capacities since 2006.  Currently she serves as the District webmaster and e-newsletter editor.


The 2013 recipient is Glenna Hemphill, our Goodwill Coordinator for the Windsor area.   Val Luscott presented this award to Glenna at the 2013 Fall Luncheon.  Glenna initiated the Goodwill Program for District 7 in 1998 and has gotten several other retirees involved as volunteer visitors.   Glenna spends countless hours visiting, sending cards and preparing little care packages.  Glenna says that she reaps abundant joy from her countless hours of volunteering.  Thank-you Glenna for your wonderful efforts!


The 2012 recipient is Keith Robertson. Among his many contributions to District 7, Keith Robertson has served for many years as treasurer.  In recent years as Pension Chair, he has kept us well informed about pension matters.  Keith is greatly respected as a gentleman of integrity.  Pictured below in Sept. 2010 - Keith and his wife celebrate the 25th Anniversary of District 7.
